Sarah Winderlin is a graduate of the School of the Museum of Fine Art and Tufts University. She lives in Ipswich. As an animal lover, Sarah strives to capture the beauty and personality of the creatures she paints. For this series she focused on rescue animals big and small. All have their own story...on the small side, ranging from a beloved, blind house rabbit to a tiny hen, happiest perching on her person’s head...and, on the larger side, to a magnificent horse set to be euthanized after being deemed unsafe to ride…. when he simply needed treatment and recovery from an ill fitted saddle.
