Sara Nilsson lives and works in Olsäter, Sweden. She works primarily with figurative sculptures and characteristic for her work is the way she combines sculpture and painting. A recurring theme in her work is ”back to nature”. Her works are built up like small scenes, often set in a nature surrounding, portraying serene and enigmatic characters. They could be nomads wandering the woods, or settlers looking for a new place.
Sara received her MFA from Konstfack University, Stockholm in 2007.
