Kristen Egan is a mixed media artist specializing in sculpture and illustration. Her recent sculptures combine paperclay and acrylics with natural materials like gourds, wood, antlers, shells, and stone. Her work explores concepts like evolution, predator/prey relationships and other natural cycles, often referencing elements of mythology and folk art. Kristen has a BFA in Art & Design from the SUNY College of Ceramics at Alfred University. Her work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally, and can currently be seen in galleries including Arch Enemy Arts (Philadelphia, PA), Higher Art Gallery (Traverse City, MI), Mud & Maker (Pottsville, PA), and the Walk In Art Center (Schuylkill Haven, PA).
