Godeleine de Rosamel

Godeleine de Rosamel is an artist and illustrator born in Northern France. She studied art at l’ERG (Ecole de Recherche Graphique) in Brussels, Belgium.  She graduated four years later and started a career as an illustrator and painter. She lived and worked in Paris for ten years before relocating in Los Angeles in 2001.

Ten years ago she started to focus seriously on her ceramic work, and now when she draws, it is from her ceramic creations that she gets the inspiration for her illustration work. An inspiration that she feels is truly hers. Her work is regularly exhibited. Living in Los Angeles, she enjoys the Pacific ocean and its pelicans, as well as the delicious smell of Eucalyptus trees.
