Allysa is a freelance illustrator, mostly of natural history, scientific, and children's book illustrations. Her work highlights interactions and cycles within nature, and explores the relationships between humans and wildlife. This series, Reciprocation, focuses on the delicate yet dynamic grey area between friend and foe of the natural world - how do we define the organisms visit our landscape? When does an organism shift from pest to facilitator, or is it often somewhere in between?
