Metamorphosis Array (tangerine)
Through the use of abstraction, Charyl Weissbach’s encaustic paintings convey nature’s infinite variations of pattern, color, and ethereal beauty. Metamorphosis Array are comprised of multiple layers of stenciled wax alternating with encaustic wax medium with some containing a glossy polymer resin coating. These paintings convey organic shapes and patterns that emerge progressively into the foreground. MetalScapes combines metal with pigmented wax. Together these materials are uniquely able to convey nature’s vastness and mysterious allure.
