Betsy Thompson
A former educator, Betsy is now a full-time artist and illustrator. One of her primary goals as a mixed media artist is to make art more accessible and to engage her viewers, adults and children alike, by drawing them in through the use of color, movement, shapes, and story-telling. Betsy recently illustrated her first children's book, Eggs 1 2 3: Who Will the Babies Be? which was published by Blue Apple Books in April 2012. She lives with her professor husband and two daughters on the coast of Maine.
