Raised in the Midwest, Monica has a nostalgic draw to Americana lifestyle and iconography. She finds solace in country life and dirt roads, and enjoys documenting the old buildings, vehicles, animals, and other dusty treasures she finds while traveling them. She has experimented with various mixed media assemblage techniques incorporating photography, printmaking, and collage. She lives in Denver, Colorado with her very human-like dog, Erma.
