Amanda Kavanagh

Birdland
Amanda Kavanagh is a painter and graphic designer based in Brooklyn, NY. She attended Syracuse University where she studied illustration and fine art, and went on to a career in graphic design. Her design background has strongly influenced her sense of color and composition in her painting. Amanda's paintings have been featured in several New York City and east coast galleries. She is also part of a lively, web-based sketch artists community. Pages from her handmade journals have been featured in two books, "An Illustrated Life" by Danny Gregory and  "1000 Artist Journal Pages" by Dawn DeVries Sokol.
