Ryan and Lucy Berkley
Ryan and Lucy Berkley are a husband and wife (and baby and dog) team from Portland, Oregon. They spend their days at Berkley Illustration headquarters, home base of Ryan’s detailed drawings of sophisticated animals and other critters. For their Enormous Tiny Art pieces Lucy interpreted some of Ryan’s drawings into embroidery using Ryan’s expert patterns. They were inspired to use this medium by a pair of needlepoint cardinals that used to hang in Lucy’s grandmother’s house and now make their home in their daughter’s nursery.
