Emma Ashby
Born in England, Emma has a Masters Degree in Textile Design and Fiber Arts from the Royal College of Art in London. She emigrated to the United States in 2002 to live in Portsmouth, New Hampshire where she is now working and exhibiting as an encaustic artist. Her use of encaustic and mixed media allows her to experiment with color and texture, sometimes creating sculptural forms that are inspired by the natural beauty that surrounds her Seacoast home.
