Sarah Ahearn Bellemare

The Plum

Sarah Ahearn Bellemare is a painter, author, workshop teacher & new mama from Western Massachusetts. Her whimsical mixed media paintings are layered with found images, fragments of text from old books, and pieces of outdated maps. These ephemera become the fabric and focus of many of her pieces.  Sarah's new book, Painted Pages: Fueling Creativity with Mixed Media and Sketchbooks, was released in May of 2011, published by Quarry Books.
