Tracy Sunday Mastro
The pieces in the "Imaginary Form" series are made of vitreous enamel on copper. The copper is formed and cleaned then powdered glass is applied and fused in a kiln. Each piece is coated and fired two to four times to build up the layers of colored glass. These imaginary organic forms; bubbles, flowers, spores, etc. may resemble something seen in the woods, or a pond, or from outer-space. Tracy lives in Raymond, Maine. She enjoys walking in the woods where she gains inspiratino for her art. Most of her creative time is spent enameling and paintings with encaustic.
